STAR Gel Pickling Gel Pickling Paste form which is used to clean weld seams and surrounding areas and is applied with brush. It is used to remove heavy scales, discolouration, annealing colours, rust particles near weld and welding affected area by heat without grinding or wire brushing or buffing.

STAR Gel does not give Yellow or Black stain marks on

surface after washing with water.

Application Steps : 1. STAR Gel is applied on weld seam & surrounding areas with a nylon bristled plastic brush.

Application Temp. = between 5 – 40 deg. C

2. Keep STAR Gel for 5 to 30 minutes ( contact time ) depending on contamination, temperature & grade of Stainless Steel.

3. Use pressurised water jet spray OR wipe the weld seam lightly with plastic brush & wash with water thoroughly.

Tested & Approved by IIT Bombay under ASTM A380 standards

Application Method : Apply Star Gel SS Weld Pickling Paste on Stainless Steel welded seam & nearby area with nylon bristles brush. Give contact time of 5 to 30 minutes depending on grade & thickness of SS and temperature of SS surface. Then, wash with water properly with pressurized water jet spray or light scrubbing with plastic scrubber (if required) & water. And get totally silvery white surface without grinding or buffing.

Coverage : Approx. 90 to 100 meters of weld seam per kg of STAR Gel
